April Software Update

Engineering
Summary
  • This month we focused on refining several commonly used user interfaces based on customer feedback. Most notably, we completely overhauled the alarm‑setup page in the DataRecorder software, revising it to provide a more intuitive way to configure various conditions and select alert options. We also improved the network page in the Settings application; switching between DHCP and static IP addresses is now much easier, and designating an IP for device discovery has been simplified. These changes should enhance the overall user experience.

March Software Update

Engineering
Summary
  • To improve the quality of the software suite, we have implemented automated testing internally to catch issues before they reach the end user. For example, when a new feature is added, a series of tests are created that simulate typical user behavior. Consequently, if a test fails, the problem is identified before public release. The result is higher‑quality software.

New USB and Ethernet data loggers with built‑in temperature and humidity sensors and sensor expansion ports.

Paragon Robotics introduces new USB and Ethernet data loggers featuring built‑in temperature and humidity sensors, an integrated display, data storage, and expansion ports for additional sensors, signal inputs, and control outputs.

Easily expand to measure and log CO₂, light, motion, flow, power, and external temperature probes (RTDs, thermocouples, thermistors), as well as air quality, by adding plug‑in modules to the base unit’s expansion ports. Our data loggers are also compatible with any instrumentation or sensors that provide VDC or mA outputs.
