Javascript Software Developer (Twinsburg, OH HQ)

Job Description

We develop and manufacture monitoring, control, and automation products for the energy efficiency and defense industries. We're looking for a software developer with Javascript experience to join our software development team. This position will work on core algorithm and software development for many of our R&D projects, and help support projects with Federal and other customers. Projects will include both client-side (HTML5) projects, as well as server-side development using node.js.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop client-side software and algorithms using HTML5 (HTML/CSS/JS)
  • Develop server-side scripts and packages using node.js
  • Help manage development systems such as revision control and other engineering tools
  • Develop next-gen software controls strategies for our data acquisition and controls packages

  • Qualifications

  • Must be able to pass a government background check, which typically requires US citizenship due to our work on sensitive Federal projects
  • BSCS or equivalent
  • 2+ yrs experience programming in Javascript or similar language (node.js a plus)
  • Experience in HTML and CSS GUI design desired
  • Experience with Linux development platforms desired

  • Compensation

  • $42,000 to $75,000 (based on experience)

  • This job position requires one to two days per week at our Twinsburg office, with up to 4 days per week available for remote work. No travel is anticipated for this position.
