Production and Field Service Technician (Twinsburg, OH HQ)

Job Description

We are an manufacturer and service provider of sensing/control devices based in Twinsburg OH, and are looking for a new team member with experience with light production environments (shipping, purchasing help, assembly, CNC machine operation, etc), as well as some potential experience with field support. We are a small team working in an elegant office setting, and are looking for self-motivated individuals with great communication skills. Because we’re small, everyone typically “wears many hats” here, so we’re also looking for individuals which love to learn in lots of different areas.

Our primary customers are with the Department of Defense, so we focus on quality over quantity, while also meeting the most stringent security and quality requirements. We are a rapidly growing company working in the cutting edge of wireless hardware, cybersecurity software, and artificial intelligence systems, so we’re looking for candidates who are interested in joining us for the exciting journey ahead!



Production responsibilities

  • Shipping support for outgoing shipments
  • Purchasing support for production, including inventory management support and component re-ordering
  • Light through hole soldering, as well as some minor surface mount rework depending on training level
  • Sensor calibration using calibration chambers and meters
  • Assembling circuit boards into cases
  • Using PC software to program, calibrate, and test devices


    • Field technician responsibilities

  • Assisting with installation of products at customer sites
  • Providing remote support for customers as needed


    • Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-2 years in a production or field service environment
  • Able to lift 25lbs
  • Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
  • Due to required site visits at critical facilities, must be COVID vaccinated


    • Compensation

  • $36,000 to $48,000 salary, based on experience
