Electrical or Firmware Engineer (Twinsburg, OH HQ)

Job Description

We are a manufacturer of efficient monitoring and controls products for the world’s most demanding applications, with a focus on the defense and energy industries. We’re looking for an electronics or firmware engineer to lead development work on a new defense project, as well as provide continued support for other product lines as needed. Projects will involve embedded C programming, mixed-domain electronics design and testing, and wireless system development.

Job Responsibilities

  • Electronics design, including schematic capture and PCB layout
  • Develop embedded ARM firmware in C
  • Managing test plans and reporting
  • Assist our software team with Javascript driver support or other interfacing systems
  • Improve system quality through maintaining and growing our testing systems (both automated and manual)
  • Work with defense customers to manage development schedules and scope on key R&D contracts
  • Help manage the transition of new products through to production


  • Qualifications

  • BSEE or equivalent
  • 1+ yrs experience with embedded programming in C or other language
  • 1+ yrs experience with electronic schematic and PCB design
  • Experience with Linux development platforms desired


  • Compensation

  • $50,000 to $75,000 (based on experience)

  • This job position requires one to two days per week at our Twinsburg office, with up to 4 days per week available for remote work. No travel is anticipated for this position.
