Paragon is International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) registered for U.S. defense and Department of State requirements. ITAR compliance is essential for electronics manufacturers, as many products containing specific technical data or components may be classified as defense articles under these regulations.
Even if a product is intended for commercial use, incorporating ITAR‑controlled technical data or components can subject it to ITAR regulations. Non‑compliance may result in severe civil and criminal penalties, including fines, denial of export privileges, and imprisonment. Consequently, electronics manufacturers must understand and adhere to ITAR requirements to ensure compliance and avoid legal consequences.
