Paragon Robotics is excited to introduce the DB18 Expansion Module, one of our most popular models designed for flexible and scalable monitoring solutions. The DB18 accepts up to three individual external sensors simultaneously and is fully compatible with third‑party plug‑type sensor providers. Manufacturers such as Schneider Electric, Veris Industries, and Onset offer a variety of compatible sensors, including those for air pressure, CO₂, 4‑20 mA, and 0‑10 V measurements. The module features secure, locked connections through mini‑stereo plug input cables, with optional cables available for VDC and mA inputs for external sensors or device outputs. Requiring just one expansion port on the base device, the DB18 module integrates seamlessly with your existing setup.

Our DataRecorder and configuration‑utility software allow users to program and display proper measurement units for each sensor input. Additionally, remote email or SMS alarm notifications can be easily enabled using our HaloCloud service, providing timely alerts for critical monitoring.

This expansion module is a key component of our N‑series monitoring, control, and data‑logging systems, which provide flexible, scalable, and customizable solutions for a wide range of applications. Whether you need a multipoint cloud‑based system or a standalone data logger, our platform offers versatile options to meet your specific requirements. The N‑series features modular sensor and control options, including compatibility with temperature modules for thermistor, RTD, and thermocouple probes, as well as monitoring capabilities for flow meters, energy‑efficiency modules for CT clamps, three‑phase power monitoring, and WattNode devices.

With built‑in automation features—including digital I/O, analog I/O, relays, and power supplies—the N‑series also integrates with BACnet and Modbus protocols for comprehensive monitoring and control. Ideal for applications such as energy management, HVAC systems, facility monitoring, life sciences, industrial automation, and more, the DB18 and N‑series systems deliver unparalleled flexibility.

All of our systems include Paragon Robotics’ suite of customizable software tools, featuring monitoring dashboards, data logging, charting, export/import capabilities, and individual alarm setpoint configurations. With network connectivity, each device can be accessed remotely via the cloud from any location, making our solutions the ideal choice for any monitoring and control application.
