The DB17 Expansion Module features a reliable built‑in temperature and humidity sensor for precise environmental and closed‑chamber monitoring. The digital sensor provides a temperature range of –20 °C to 70 °C (–4 °F to 158 °F) with ±0.5 °C (±0.9 °F) accuracy. Humidity measurements span 5 % to 95 % with ±3 % accuracy. The DB17 delivers 24/7 monitoring of air spaces in storage areas, clean/ante‑rooms, laboratories, and closed chambers such as cold storage units and incubators.
When paired with any of our N‑series devices that have expansion ports, the DB17 can be connected directly to the port or attached via cable for placement inside closed compartments, enabling temperature and humidity monitoring in freezers, refrigeration systems, and incubators. For N22 series units without onboard sensors, the DB17 readily extends the system gateway to an ambient‑monitoring location. Its compatibility with our DataRecorder and configuration‑utility software allows seamless customization of measurement units (°F, °C, K, heat index, RH %) to meet specific requirements. Additionally, our HaloCloud service lets users enable remote email or SMS alarm notifications, ensuring a prompt response to any deviation.
