Description
The GW12 Wireless Gateway adds a built-in 3G/4G modem and cellular capability to our base Model GW10 Super-Gateway. It is compatible with any carrier using a SIM based system. With Cellular based connections, the Model GW12 is designed for remote locations and applications where there is no existing network infrastructure. In addition to remote locations without any network infrastructure, Paragon’s Data Logger systems with the GW12 and cellular interface are used in mobile applications such as transit systems, cold chain storage and field environmental research studies.
All of our Super-Gateways are designed with a full ARM-based Linux platform for powerful scripting capabilities. They are popular with system integrators and analytics companies to communicate with BACnet, Modbus, or any other custom network-based protocols. Super-Gateways features 3GB of on-board memory for data storage and provide interconnectivity for an unlimited number of Halo/S™ devices at once. Our Super-Gateways can be connected via Ethernet (Model GW10), WIFI (Model GW11) or Cellular 3G/4G modem (Model GW12).
One gateway is required for each site, and oversees each wireless network. It also relays communications between all wireless sensors and a connected PC or local network. On-board storage is used to store decades of logged data from the connected sensors in its wireless network. The gateway can be optionally configured to work with our HaloCloud service, allowing remote monitoring, control, and alarms for the entire system.
